Ukraine: imports of seeds of high-oleic sunflower up in 2015/2016 MY

In 2015/2016 MY the imports of seeds of high-oleic sunflower to Ukraine (for the harvest-2016) totaled 2.2 thousand tons, up 2.5 times YoY. Due to development of the market of high-oleic sunflower oil in the country, the planted areas under the oilseed started growing, and the demand for seed raw materials and market capacity continues growing
