Ukraine: corn harvesting slower than in 2015

As of October 17, winter crops had been sown at 5307 thousand ha, or72% of the forecast area – 7374 thousand ha. This included 4804 thousand ha of winter wheat and triticale (77% from the planned 6198 thousand ha), 140 thousand ha of rye (95% of 147 thousand ha), 364 thousand ha of barley (35% of 1028 thousand ha)
