Ukraine: sowing campaign lags behind the last year’s pace

As of October 3, winter crops had been sown at 3616 thousand ha, or 49% of the intended area – 7374 thousand ha. This included 3355 thousand ha of winter wheat and triticale (54% from the planned 6198 thousand ha), 114 thousand ha of rye (77% of 147 thousand ha), and 147 thousand ha of barley (14% of 1028 thousand ha)
