Kazakhstan: season begins with brisk wheat exports

In the first month of season 2016/2017 (September) Kazakhstan exported 355.16 KMT of wheat, up by 1/3 YoY (260 KMT). The key destination markets for Kazakh wheat in this period included its traditional importers: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan, but with substantially increased shipments for this time of season
