Belarus: snow to protect winter crops from low temperatures

The weather conditions are fair at the onset of winter crops’ dormancy. Most fields in the country are covered with 5-2 cm of snow. The soil is not frozen deeply yet, mostly to 1-8 cm; this depth reaches 10-13 cm just in some areas of Belarus
